“Blood, Guns and Whores – An All American Tale of a Boy and His Dog”, is a coffee table novel tm - made of micro chapters about a boy growing up in the small farming community of Blissfield, Michigan and on to present day in San Francisco.

Her awards include residencies at the Hambidge Center and Dairy Hollow and participation in the University of Arizona’s poets-in-residence program. She is the editor of Zona Rosa Books, an imprint founded by her friend and mentor, the nationally-acclaimed author Rosemary Daniell.
Connie holds both an M.F.A. in poetry and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in literature and women’s studies and is the author of Halley’s Confidence, a comic novel about a woman dating HIMS (Highly Inappropriate Men).
