Connie Baechler
Her work has appeared in:
Kalliope, Pearl Magazine,Hurricane Review and Desire: Women Write About Wanting (Seal Press). Her awards include residencies at the Hambidge Center and Dairy Hollow and participation in the University of Arizona’s poets-in-residence program. She is the editor of Zona Rosa Books, an imprint founded by her friend and mentor, the nationally-acclaimed author Rosemary Daniell.
Connie holds both an M.F.A. in poetry and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in literature and women’s studies and is the author of Halley’s Confidence, a comic novel about a woman dating HIMS (Highly Inappropriate Men).
